How to Request Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your account with HOOKS, please follow these steps:

Open the HOOKS app.

Go to Account > Account Settings > Delete Account.

Confirm your request by following the on-screen instructions.
Alternatively, you can send an email to our support team at [email protected] with the subject line: “Account Deletion Request”.
Please include the email address linked to your account to help us process your request.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted:

Profile information (name, username, bio, photos)

Posts, likes, and comments
-
Friends, followers, and connections
-
In-app activity history
-
Login credentials
What Data May Be Retained
Some data may be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons, including:

Transaction records (for tax and accounting purposes) – retained up to 7 years.

Fraud prevention and security logs – retained up to 24 months.

Anonymized or aggregated data (that cannot identify you) – may be kept for analytics.
After the applicable retention period, this data will also be securely deleted.
Confirmation of Deletion
Once your account is deleted, you will receive a confirmation email. You will no longer be able to log in or recover your account.
