The Latest from HOOKS — October 2025
A new month, a new drop of updates from our team. This time, we’ve made some meaningful improvements under the hood, along with a few exciting milestones worth celebrating.
A new dimension to discovery
Our map just went 3D.
Now, when you explore HOOKS, places and posts feel more alive — the new 3D map brings depth and movement to how you discover people, stories, and moments nearby. It’s the same idea at heart — connecting travelers through what they share — but it now feels that much closer to being there.
Fixing what matters
We’ve also squashed one of the more frustrating bugs: the one that sometimes failed to register your location when posting a HOOK. No more ghost posts — your moments will land exactly where they’re meant to.
More control, your way
Managing your account and profile settings is now smoother and more intuitive. You have greater control over what you share, how you appear, and how you interact — because HOOKS is built around your comfort and ownership.a
Small touches, big difference
Beyond the headline features, we’ve continued refining the little things that make HOOKS feel better day to day — UI polish, more consistent email notifications, and performance upgrades throughout the app. Subtle, but tangible.
Transparency and ownership stay at the core
Our stance remains the same: you own your content. We’ll always be transparent about how your data and creations are handled. HOOKS exists to empower you — the travelers, creators, and explorers who make this map come alive.
Available everywhere
The big news: HOOKS is now officially available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Wherever you are, you can now download, share, and explore the world through HOOKS — all from your pocket.
Looking ahead
We’re always listening. As we continue refining HOOKS, we invite you to share your thoughts directly — message our Customer Support account anytime. Your feedback shapes the road ahead.
